Oh, hello!

This is Rick Brewin

(He likes to sing and write songs)

About

Rick Brewin is a Singer/Songwriter from Manchester whose eclectic influences inform a mix of emotional lyrics and catchy melodies that were once described by his university lecturer as ‘Pop with integrity’.

He liked that.

Inspired by the likes of James Taylor, Paul Simon, and Ron Sexsmith, his thoughtful lyrics and warm stage presence will leave you wanting to buy him a drink. Which he’ll gladly accept. As long as he’s not driving, and it’s a good drink.

As well as writing and performing his own music in and around the North West, Rick is currently a member of two of Manchester’s finest Covers/Function bands; The Rumantics and Crème Brûlée.

Old Songs & Clichés.

Rick’s (not yet recorded) debut EP ‘Old Songs & Clichés’ is theoretically due for release in 2024, with critics already describing it as ‘Hopefully going to happen.”

Let’s hope it does, seeing as Rick made a statement of intent by getting the ‘terrible little drawing of a guitar’ logo (that he intends to use on the EP) tattooed on his leg. Which is broadly fine, and only a slightly strange thing to do.
